SARAJEVO, (Patria) - I call on the Peace Implementation Council in BiH to immediately review and prevent the formation of a reserve unit of the RS MUP, as announced by Dragan Lukač, states in a statement by Nihad Čolpa, a representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH and president of the Citizens' Alliance, regarding the announcement by Dragan Lukač that the RS MUP will introduce a reserve unit.
"Otherwise, it is necessary for the FBiH MUP to immediately undertake activities aimed at forming a reserve police unit, thus establishing a balance and increasing security in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is only possible if there is equilibrium in all segments between those who are for a unified and stable Bosnia and Herzegovina and those who are against such BiH," Čolpa stated.
He adds that he expects "that cantonal MUPs also consider introducing a reserve unit, if the RS decides on such a step."
