Cmiljanić's late goal secures victory for Sarajevo against Sloboda at Koševo

(Patria) - Sarajevo achieved a victory over Sloboda in a dramatic finish today.

The hosts at Koševo appeared better in the opening minutes of the match of the 17th round of the m:tel Premier League of BiH, having territorial initiative, but failed to create concrete chances. It mostly came down to unsuccessful crosses from the flanks, which the Tuzla defense resolved without problems.

However, Sloboda threatened dangerously in the 38th minute. The speedy Osmić escaped his markers and ran alone towards Dizdarević, but the young goalkeeper of the maroon team saved his close-range shot with his foot.

For Sarajevo, Velkoski's and Kurdić's attempts from the edge of the penalty area are worth highlighting, but both times they shot directly at the well-positioned goalkeeper, as did Dženis Beganović on the other side.

For most of the second half, not much could be seen either. Sarajevo tried with shots from a distance, while Sloboda waited for chances on counter-attacks.

Substitute Varešanović had a concrete chance for the maroon team in the 73rd minute after a good through ball, but he shot over the Tuzla team's goal. The same player had a chance seven minutes later, but Bukvić saved it easily.

And when it seemed that the match would end in a draw, the maroon team scored the goal worth three points. In stoppage time, Sarajevo played a good move, Oremuš crossed brilliantly, and at the right spot was substitute Boris Cmiljanić, who scored with a header from the six-yard box for the final 1:0.
