(Patria) - Members of the Municipal Organization of SDP Novi Grad Sarajevo have sent a request to the Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Vojin Mijatović, Vice-President of SDP and Minister in the FBiH Government.
"We are addressing you with a request for disciplinary responsibility regarding the published status of our member Vojin Mijatović, current Vice-President of the FBiH Government and Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, on his Facebook profile.
Namely, in the status that the named person published, he stated, among other things, the following:
- ....you have also raised your own children who were born after the war, I must tell you
your leaders and commanders have brutally screwed you over, you got nothing, they betrayed and sold you out on
all three sides, and if you want to go further, go ahead until complete extermination...,
- ....I absolutely do not care about your truths and your histories and histories, if you have the strength for
today and tomorrow, let's go, if you don't want to, kill each other in your ghettos of the past....,
- ...and no, I don't care about a Bosnia in which only one side dictates, and no, you have no idea about the future, you are perfectly happy in your catastrophic past...
We remind you that the judgments of the Hague Tribunal clearly and precisely stated that an armed aggression was carried out against the sovereign, independent, and internationally recognized state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Equating those who stood in defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina with those who ordered shelling, committed genocide, and killed innocent civilians is impermissible and unacceptable," they state in their letter.
They emphasize that thirty-one years ago, the legal Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Decree on the formation of the Army of RBiH, and this was one of the most important decisions in the long history of our country.
"Therefore, this goes against all civilizational values and insults those honorable members of the SDP who bravely stood in defense of their country when it was most needed. In this regard, we insist that you demand that Vojin Mijatović clarify in what capacity, i.e.
role he expressed such views (citizen, SDP member, minister, Vice-President of the FBiH Government), as well as that, in accordance with the statutory provisions, the disciplinary responsibility of the named person be reviewed," it is stated.
Otherwise, the request was submitted by members of the Municipal Committee of SDP Novi Grad who resigned in October 2023, and which have not been considered to date. Among them are former members of the Army of RBiH and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RBiH.
In the meantime, Abel Baltić became the president of the Municipal Organization of SDP Novi Grad.
Head of the KO SDP Sarajevo Adnan Šteta said last week that there are no factions in SDP and that he is satisfied with the situation in Sarajevo SDP. However, it is certain that the Novi Grad organization of SDP is shaken by internal relations.
