Members of KUD Bosna danced kolo on the Chicago Bulls court

(Patria) - When the United States is mentioned these days, everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina thinks of President Donald Trump, reciprocal tariffs, and a hundred other daily political events.



But directly from Chicago, more precisely from the United Center court, where the celebrated Chicago Bulls play their games, comes a much more valuable and interesting story.

Namely, the Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD) Bosna from Chicago, under the leadership of four former members Elma Frzina, Edina Sivac, Merima Musić, and Šejla Pirić, presented their homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina in the most beautiful way possible a few days ago.



They worked diligently on this performance for more than half a year, and about 100 members of KUD Bosna participated.

It is also particularly interesting that the entire musical accompaniment for this performance was recorded in Tuzla under the mentorship of the celebrated sevdalija Džihad Polić and the baton of maestro Dragan Divjak.



The girls and boys from KUD Bosna Chicago showed all of us how to love, respect, present, and dignifiedly appreciate one's homeland.
