Members of the BiH Football Association Disciplinary Committee: We do not promote fascism

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The president of the Disciplinary Committee Josip Roso, and members Nermin Kljajić and Mario Bašić reacted through a law office to the text published under the title “Football Association of BiH promotes fascism with penalties and creates new criminals from the stands” published on Patria's website on March 5 this year.

The reaction states that “The submitters have never promoted fascism, have never led any group that promotes fascism, have never committed any criminal offense, let alone been co-perpetrators of genocide or war crimes, have never supported fascism, nationalism, or war criminals”. 

We remind you that the text commented on the fact that the Football Club Borac was fined two matches without spectators in the north stand of the City Stadium and a fine of 5,000 KM for chanting from the stands “Knife, wire, Srebrenica” and “kill the Turk”, and for using pyrotechnics. For using pyrotechnics at the same match, Sarajevo fans were punished with a ban from attending one away match.
