Three individuals who attempted to demolish an improvised cross at Zlatište with cables last night were questioned today at the premises of the Public Security Center East Sarajevo, while a fourth individual announced their arrival after 1 PM due to health issues, Danaka Tešić, spokesperson for CSB East Sarajevo, told Patria agency.
- Regarding the fifth individual, they are a minor and a different procedure applies. We will forward the documentation we have after interviewing these individuals to the Prosecutor's Office, although the prosecutor has decided there are no elements of criminal responsibility – Tešić said.
On the other hand, CSB East Sarajevo had no other interventions regarding this case, and when asked if these individuals would be issued misdemeanor orders for disturbing the peace, Tešić had no answer.
The removal of the cross at Zlatište is within the jurisdiction of the municipal authorities, in this case, the Municipality of Istočni Stari Grad. The cross was erected on the night between Saturday and Sunday.
