You can call Civil Protection 24 hours a day: All numbers you might need in this situation

(Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton reminds citizens that they can contact Civil Protection by calling 121. The number is operational 24 hours a day.

Also continuously operational is the number 062/899 501, to which deaf persons can send SMS messages to Civil Protection in emergency situations.

“In order to ensure the health safety of water in flooded areas, the company ‘Vodovod i kanalizacija’ maintains the water supply system under pressure so that water from flooded areas cannot enter the water supply installations. Analyses are ongoing, and based on current results and experience from similar situations, we do not expect any problems regarding water quality. Citizens will be informed if, based on the situation on the ground or the results of water sample analyses, there is any doubt about the health safety of water,” the Government states.

They also emphasize that the supply of natural gas for Sarajevo Canton is proceeding normally, and that all categories of customers are supplied with gas.

Sarajevogas teams are on standby, and duty teams are performing regular customer support tasks and preventive checks on the gas system.
