Civil Protection in Maglaj Collected 38 Pieces of UXO Yesterday

The consequences of the unprecedented floods that hit a large part of Bosnia and Herzegovina in May are still being remediated. The situation in the Posavina Canton regarding river water levels is stable, and the remediation of the Sava embankment on the flooded areas of Odžak and central Posavina is in its final phase, reports the Patria News Agency.

Yesterday, the "Harvest" operation was carried out in the Municipality of Maglaj, and employees of the municipal civil protection took over 37 pieces of ammunition of undetermined caliber and 1 hand grenade (Maglaj Grad locality), all of which were stored until the destruction date is determined.

In the Municipality of Kalesija, in the settlement of Ćorsulići, landslide remediation began today, and yesterday the "A" team of the FUCZ/KUCZ Civil Protection carried out the collection and destruction of UXO in the municipality.
