Civil Protection of RS: Today destroyed mine-explosive devices seized in 2013

Acting on the order of the Basic Court in Derventa, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) handed over a larger quantity of mine-explosive devices and military weapons to the Civil Protection of Republika Srpska for destruction, SIPA announced, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The order covers items that were found and temporarily seized in May 2013 during a SIPA operation in the municipality of Brod, which had since been stored.

These include various types of rifle grenades (instant, illuminating, and cumulative), shells, rocket-propelled grenades, hand grenades, cumulative hand grenades, and ammunition of various calibers.

Members of the Civil Protection of Republika Srpska destroyed the mentioned items today at the Vučja brda range, municipality of Kalinovik.
