Ćiro Blažević: Vlašić has complexes that do not lag behind Switzerland's

The coach of all coaches, Miroslav Ćiro Blažević, spent two days in his native Travnik, at the gathering of the Club of Incurable Travnik residents, on March 24 and 25, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Blažević visited the mountain beauty Vlašić, visited the graves of his parents in the Bojna cemetery, and walked through the streets of Travnik...

Samer Dolovac, owner of the tourist agency "Santours", told NAP that Blažević said he knows Travnik well, and that he proudly states everywhere in the world that he was born in this Bosnian town, but admits that he is surprised by the quality of the sports and recreational offer on Vlašić.

- He said that he had stayed in the most beautiful parts of Switzerland, but that he did not know at all that Travnik has sports and recreational complexes that do not lag behind the Alpine ones at all. Ćiro was in training with Dinamo on Vlašić in the 70s, but the mountain was nowhere near as well-maintained as it is now - Dolovac told NAP.

Although there were no direct discussions about Blažević's specific engagement in his hometown, Dolovac said that Ćiro mentioned several times that Vlašić has enormous tourism potential, which can "lift" the economy of the entire central Bosnia.
