Čirkin: Returnees are scared even though the motive is not yet known, the situation is not good

Behzad Čirkin (SDP), a deputy in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, will hold a press conference today dedicated to the latest events in the smaller BiH entity, following the murder of Almir Redžić (48) and Muharem Balić (62) in Trnopolje near Prijedor, reports the Patria News Agency.

In a statement to NAP, Čirkin said he would speak about the overall human rights situation, with a particular focus on the security situation in RS, and specifically in Prijedor and Potkozarje, due to the recent murders.

- The situation is bad, and without prejudging the work that investigative bodies still need to do very quickly, returnees are scared and intimidated by all the events. Even without delving into the motives and what the authorities need to investigate, because the wounds are still fresh, and we know that 284 war victims were recently buried in Kozarac. The situation is not good – said Čirkin.
