CEC banned 15 parties from participating in the 2022 elections

(Patria) - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 76th session held on 18.11.2021, for 15 political parties, due to failure to submit financial reports for 2020.

As announced by the CEC, they were also prevented from reviewing financial reports at the parties' premises, and an administrative measure was imposed on them, denying them the right to run in the next elections.

"The right to run in the next elections is banned for the Indigenous Croatian Party of Rights BiH, BH Free Democrats, Democratic Family Party, Civic Democratic Party, List for Bugojno, Political Organization 'Your Movement', Economic Next Movement of BiH, Alliance of Communists of Yugoslavia, Alliance for Stari Grad, Croatian Party of Rights BiH, Croatian Peasant Party of BiH, 'New Alternative' - Party of Labor and Development of BiH, Serbian Radical Party 'January 9th', Serbian Renewal Movement of Republika Srpska, and Political Organization 'Independent List - Positive Živinice Story'," the CEC stated.

They added that the decisions on imposing administrative measures are not final and can be appealed to the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH within 15 days of receiving the decision.

General elections in BiH are expected to be held in the fall of 2022.
