CEC increased the value of the contract for printing and packaging of ballots by 250,000 KM

(Patria) - Following the finalization of the Decision on annulling the public procurement procedure for the service of printing and packaging of ballots for the 2024 Local Elections, the Central Election Commission of BiH today at its 30th session adopted a new Decision on the procurement of the service of printing and packaging of ballots for the 2024 Local Elections (re-procurement procedure).

The estimated value of the procurement is approximately 1,370,000 KM without VAT, or approximately 1,600,000 KM with VAT for the conclusion of a framework agreement, and a contract will be concluded for the printing of ballots for the 2024 Local Elections based on this framework agreement with a value of 1,282,000 KM without VAT, or
1,500,000 KM with VAT, and it will be executed by applying a negotiated procedure without prior publication of a procurement notice, in accordance with the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (1), point a) of the Public Procurement Law, due to the fact that no bids were submitted by the deadline for submitting bids in the open procedure, and the contract conditions have not changed compared to the conditions from the previous procedure.

In the re-procurement procedure for the service of printing and packaging of ballots for the 2024 Local Elections, the procurement value has been increased by approximately 250,000 KM.
