CEC confirms 54 mandates for the House of Peoples, four Serb delegates missing

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session made a decision to confirm the results of indirect elections and allocate mandates for the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the news agency Patria.  

According to the confirmed results of the indirect elections, a total of 54 delegates were elected to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including 17 each from the Bosniak and Croat peoples, 13 from the Serb people, and seven from the ranks of others. Four delegate seats from the Serb people remain vacant.

Five hours after it was scheduled, the session of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament finally began. At the session, delegates will take the oath, and the election and appointment of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament will be carried out, as well as the election of the president and vice-presidents of the federation, and the election of delegates to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament will also be conducted.

All appeals submitted to the CEC regarding the decisions of this institution were dismissed by the Appellate Chamber of the Court of BiH.

Tomislav Martinović, the presiding officer of the House of Peoples, called on Stjepan Mikić to present certificates to the delegates, which was done. 

The delegates from the Bosniak people are: Goran Akšamija, Almedin Aliefendić, Osman Ćatić, Lejla Didik-Sarajlić, Rasim Dostović, Fuad Hadžimehmedović, Admir Hadžipašić, Lejla Imamović, Muhamed Kozadra, Mustafa Kurtović, Mehmed Mahmić, Amor Mašović, Sanel Mušović, Anes Osmanović, Refik Poparić, Ismet Sarajlić and Jasenko Tufekčić. 

The delegates from the Croat people are: Ana Babić, Stipe Barun, Mirko Batinić, Mirvet Beganović, Zdravko Bešlić, Lidija Bradara, Đuro Delić, Edim Fejzić, Željko Josić, Damir Jukić, Tomislav Mandić,  Tomislav Martinović, Dražen Matišić, Josip Mioč, Davor Pehar, Đuro Prkačin  i Ivo Tadić. 

The delegates from the Serb people are: Slađan Ilić, Predrag Kojović, Mladen Lonić, Mile Marčeta, Slaviša Mihajlović, Daliborka Milović, Željko Mirković, Drago Puzigaća, Vesna Saradžić, Nikola Simić, Draženka Subašić, Slaviša Šućur and Slobodan Tomić.

The delegates from the ranks of others are: Sejo Bukva, Amil Buljubašić, Edin Forto, Emir Frašto, Rasim Kantarević, Segmedina Srna Bajramović and Aner Žuljević. 

The Central Election Commission of BiH adopted a conclusion that it will submit to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH a Report on the implementation of the 2014 general elections, which will cover the implementation of direct and indirect elections, but will also contain a recommendation for amending the Election Law of BiH under an urgent procedure, exceptionally for these elections, in order to fill the missing delegates from the Serb people in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, the CEC announced.
