CEC again excludes Kaplan from the electoral process in Stolac

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has once again removed Salmir Kaplan from the candidate list for the mayor of Stolac Municipality. Also removed from the list were Demir Mahmutćehajić, Ahmet Ljubović and Božo Raguž as candidates for the Stolac Municipal Council.

At today's session, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted decisions on sanctioning certain candidates and political entities due to the interruption of the electoral process during the 2016 Local Elections in the Stolac electoral unit, N1 reported, as carried by NAP.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina had previously annulled this CEC decision and returned it for reconsideration, but in the repeated procedure the CEC made the same decision and excluded these individuals from the electoral process in Stolac, NAP writes.
