CIK, OSCE and ODIHR on the bylaws of the Central Election Commission of BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A two-day workshop organized by the OSCE Mission to BiH in cooperation with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) began today in Mostar.

Members of the Central Election Commission of BiH and certain officials of the Secretariat of the CEC BiH are attending the workshop.

At the workshop, ODIHR experts (Raul Muresan, Alexey Gromov, Martina Barker-Ciganikova) will strive to review the bylaws adopted by the Central Election Commission of BiH with the Central Election Commission of BiH, in terms of their amendment in accordance with ODIHR recommendations, i.e., they will consider the possibility of implementing ODIHR recommendations through the bylaws of the Central Election Commission of BiH that do not require mandatory amendment of the Election Law of BiH.

This workshop is just one in a series of joint activities of the OSCE Mission to BiH and the Central Election Commission of BiH.
