CEC Appoints Delegates to the House of Peoples from Una-Sana and Posavina Cantons

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Central Election Commission of BiH today determined the results of indirect elections and assigned mandates to delegates in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH from Una-Sana and Posavina Cantons. 

From Una-Sana Canton, mandates in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament were assigned to Hadis Jusić (Bosniak), Hajrudin Halilović (Bosniak), Anel Šahinović (Croat), and Rasim Kantarević (Other). The mandate from Una-Sana Canton for the Croat representative was assigned after a draw, as two candidate lists had an identical quotient.

From Posavina Canton, mandates in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament were assigned to Senad Ahmetović (Bosniak) and Ilija Ilić (Croat).

- Decisions on determining the results of indirect elections and assigning mandates to delegates in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament from the aforementioned cantons will be available to the public today on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH.

The Central Election Commission of BiH also today adopted the Decision on closing and confirming the Central Voters' Register for the early elections for mayors of the City of Doboj and the City of Trebinje, and for the mayors of the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac, Municipality of Bosansko Grahovo, Municipality of Bužim, Municipality of Domaljevac-Šamac, Municipality of Drvar, Municipality of Kakanj, and Municipality of Ribnik, as of January 28, 2019, at 24:00. A total of 170,892 voters are registered in the Central Voters' Register for the aforementioned municipalities/cities. We remind you that the early elections for mayors of nine municipalities/cities will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 - it was announced from the CEC.
