CEC ASSIGNED MANDATES IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE PFBIH, DŽEVAHID SOKIĆ AND ASIM KAMBER ENTER

(Patria) - The Court of BiH rejected on February 29th the appeal of Halil Bajramović (NIP) against the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH to revoke his mandate as a representative in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament after he was sentenced to a final prison sentence of three years. His mandate ceased on November 8, 2023.

Instead, the CEC assigned the mandate to Dževahid Sokić from the candidate list of Povjerenje NIP-SPU BiH.

At today's session, the Central Election Commission also assigned another replacement mandate. SDA representative Safet Kovačević resigned his mandate, citing personal reasons. The mandate was assigned to Asim Kamber as the next qualified candidate from the SDA list.

Regarding Fadil Novalić, the CEC made a decision on February 19th to revoke his mandate as of January 26th due to the finality of the Court of BiH verdict.

However, the CEC has not yet assigned a replacement mandate, nor was it discussed at today's session. According to the SDA list, Rahim Gadžić is next on the list, but there is still no decision on assigning the mandate.
