CEC BiH published preliminary candidate lists for Local Elections

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Central Election Commission of BiH today published the Preliminary Candidate Lists and candidates for the Local Elections 2020 on the website www.izbori.ba.

A total of 30,789 candidates have been verified for the Local Elections 2020, including: 425 candidates for mayor/city mayor, of which 29 (6.82%) are women and 396 (93.18%) are men; 196 representatives of national minorities, of which 40 (20.41%) are women and 156 (79.59%) are men; and 30,168 candidates for municipal councils/municipal assemblies/city councils/city assemblies/Assembly of Brčko District of BiH, of which 12,753 (42.27%) are women and 17,415 (57.73%) are men.
