Gas price reduced by 10 percent from January 1st, end consumers do not feel it!

The price of Russian gas, Gazprom Export to Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been reduced by 10 percent starting from January 1, 2015, and now amounts to $340 per 1,000 Sm3, the Patria News Agency has learned.

Calculated, this amounts to 545 KM per 1,000 Sm3. As Almir Bečarević, former director of BH Gas company, pointed out, calculated from historical gas prices of $530 per 1000 Sm3 two and a half years ago, the price of Russian gas has been reduced by about $200 per 1000 Sm3.

- In percentage terms, that is over 35 percent. The price on the domestic market has not changed and amounts to 754 KM per 1000 Sm3, which is 200 KM higher than the purchase price at this moment. The trend of falling Russian gas prices will continue in the next quarter, when a further reduction of 10 percent is expected – says Bečarević.
