Chollet today at the BiH Presidency

(Patria) - The BiH Presidency will receive the Advisor to the US Department of State, Derek Chollet. Upon completion of the meeting, BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović will give a statement to the media.

Chollet arrived in BiH yesterday and late in the afternoon held a meeting with SDA President Bakir Izetbegović and HDZ President Dragan Čović.

After the meeting, Chollet stated that 'support from all parties is needed for more transparent and credible elections in 2022'.

'Bosnian leaders cannot substitute words for action when it comes to the functionality of Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions. Sovereignty means responsible leadership to build solutions. The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina should see which leaders are working to fulfill the promises of Bosnia and Herzegovina's potential, and they must hold accountable those who are not,' stated the US Embassy.
