Thursday, October 15: Sixth Scholarship Fair in Sarajevo

The International Cooperation Service of the University of Sarajevo is organizing the Scholarship Fair in Sarajevo again this year, the sixth in a row. The fair will be held on October 15 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., reports the Patria news agency.

The ceremonial opening of the Sixth Scholarship Fair will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The Scholarship Fair is a unique event of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at bringing together all institutions that award and/or administer scholarships or provide other types of financial support for studying in BiH and abroad, enabling them to present their scholarship and financial support programs and giving BiH students the opportunity to obtain all information about study opportunities abroad in one place. The ultimate goal is coordinated action by stakeholders in higher education to contribute to creating a better society.

So far, 25 institutions have registered to participate in the Sixth Scholarship Fair, which will present various forms of financial support (scholarships, one-time financial support, credits, loans, etc.) to BiH citizens for study in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad (governmental and non-governmental organizations, diplomatic-consular missions, civil initiative centers, local communities, foreign institutions, cultural centers, etc.).

Thanks to the organization in previous years, the Scholarship Fair has gained the status of an event that promotes and encourages the mobility of students, teachers, and associates both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond. Previous visits have exceeded 5,000 visitors, and we hope that this year's fair attendance will be even higher.
