Four parties establish model of support for Srebrenica

The leaders of the Four parties held a meeting today at the Municipality of Stari Grad in Sarajevo.

The presidents of SDP Nermin Nikšić, Our Party Predrag Kojović, People and Justice Elmedin Konaković and Independent BiH List Ibrahim Hadžibajrić addressed the media after the meeting.

Nikšić said that they continued where they left off at the meeting, and that they discussed the elections in Mostar and Srebrenica.

- We confirmed the firm commitment of the Four parties to move forward and expand in BiH, to talk with other partners in order to create the necessary bloc of parties that would have the opportunity to achieve victory and form a government in 2022. We agreed, we have a draft law on assistance to the citizens of Srebrenica, not the authorities, which we will send for procedure very soon and which should systematically solve the problem of assistance to the citizens of Srebrenica - said Nikšić.

Commenting on the planned model of assistance to Srebrenica, Konaković said that it is a draft law prepared by the SDP.

- We are grateful for that, they have taken the first big step. My colleague Nikšić and I witnessed the meeting about what happens after the elections. There was no plan B or plan C. The Four parties offer plan B, which means that institutionally, by forming a specific office for Srebrenica, by allocating a prescribed amount of budget funds annually from all cantons and municipalities where we have influence, serious funds will be provided so that Bosniaks, or Bosnians and Herzegovinians, under the pressure of some Dodik's policy, would not be forced to leave. We had an agreement that our offensive on Friday would be strong towards the international community, but it happened that not a single sentence was heard from Sarajevo - said Konaković.

He added that this was a case of either complete abandonment of Srebrenica or the awakening of BiH forces that will treat Srebrenica as it deserves.
