The 'Four' in the City Council has 18 representatives, awaiting confirmation from the Central Election Commission

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Voting for city council members concluded tonight in the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, and the lists will be sent to the Central Election Commission for final mandate determination.

The 'Four' won four mandates, with their lists receiving the most votes, one mandate for SDA, one for DF, and Srđan Srdić, who was the only council member from the Serb people. From SDP BiH, it is Elvedin Korora, from NIP, Samir Bejić and Danijela Šahat, from Our Party, Mirela Džehverović, Marijela Hašimbegović from DF, and Alma Čengić from SDA.

After the Central Election Commission officially confirms the mandates for the 28 council members, the 'Four' should have 18 council members, which is a comfortable majority for decision-making. 15 council members are needed to elect the mayor, and the convening of the constitutive session is expected at the beginning of March, given that the Central Election Commission has a deadline of 14 days for mandate confirmation.
