Four volunteers received COVID-19 vaccine

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Testing of the coronavirus vaccine on humans began yesterday, and four volunteers received the vaccine at the Kaiser Permanente research center in Seattle.

The first person to receive the vaccine is 43-year-old Jennifer Haller, a mother of two from Seattle.

"This is an opportunity to do something," she told AFP, Index reports.

Scientists say it will take months before it is known whether the vaccine is good, N1 reports.

According to data published by 6 AM on March 17 on the Worldometers.info website, there are 182,725 cases of coronavirus worldwide, of which 80,881 are in China, and 101,844 cases are outside China. Italy has 27,980 cases, Iran has 14,991, and Spain has 9,942.

A total of 7,174 people have died worldwide so far, of which 3,226 people are in China, and 3,948 worldwide. The highest number of deaths outside China is in Italy with 2,158.

There are 79,883 recovered, of which 68,690 are in China.
