Four Hands For: Payout of severance pay approved for Deputy Mayors Šarić and Trivić

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Administrative Commission of the City of Sarajevo approved the payment of severance pay to Deputy Mayors of Sarajevo Ivica Šarić and Milan Trivić in the amount of almost 20,000 KM each.

As confirmed to Patria, constant pressure was exerted on the members of the Administrative Commission to approve this payment. The previous session was convened by Igor Gavrić, using his procedural right, even though he is not the chairperson of the Commission, but the chairperson of the City Council and a member of the Commission. The chairperson of the Administrative Commission, Edina Gabela (SDA), did not appear at the previous session, nor at today's session.

The payment of severance pay was voted for today by Igor Gavrić (SBB), Snežana Omukić (independent councilor), Bajro Biber (BOSS), and Adnan Gušo (SDA).

Incidentally, both Trivić and Šarić are retired (both born in 1952), and they also received salaries while performing their duties as deputy mayors.

In 2020 alone, the inflow into the City Budget decreased by about 3 million KM, but this did not prevent the members of the Administrative Commission and the outgoing councilors from further depleting the City of Sarajevo Budget.

Trivić and Šarić were elected deputy mayors in February 2017. Šarić is from SDA, and Trivić is a proposal from SBB, as stated on the official website of the City of Sarajevo.

Members of the Administrative Commission are Edina Gabela (SDA), who is also the chairperson, Adnan Gušo (SDA), Bajro Biber (BOSS), Igor Gavrić (SBB), Vedran Grebo (Naša stranka), and Snežana Omukić (independent councilor).
