BOSANSKI ŠAMAC/SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today marks four years since the death of the second president of the SDA, Sulejman Tihić. A delegation from this party today visited his grave in Bosanski Šamac and laid flowers.
Sulejman Tihić was elected president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) at its congress held in 2001. During his political career, he held several positions in the executive and legislative branches, and in 2002 he was elected as a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After a long and serious illness, he died on 25 September 2014 in Sarajevo, and was buried on 27 September in Bosanski Šamac.
