Four BiH Companies Interested in Cooperation with Indonesian Billionaire

The initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, and BiH Ambassador to Indonesia Fuad Šabeta who discussed investment and cooperation opportunities with representatives of the company "Sayap Mas Utama" – "Wings" from Jakarta, is likely to bear fruit, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

As we have learned, several interested BiH companies have responded to the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber's call for cooperation with the company owned by the Indonesian billionaire.

"The following companies have applied for this project: "Dita" Tuzla, "Likval" Sarajevo, "Paloč" Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, and "Euro-Hem" Banja Luka," Hilva Pezo, associate expert in the Economy Sector of the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, told the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Pezo states that this could be an opportunity for the development of the chemical industry in BiH.

"Our manufacturers need help. The Indonesian market is interesting, and vice versa. Our companies have the predispositions for success. We certainly need to work on the development of this once very successful branch of the economy in BiH," Pezo told NAP.

Incidentally, the Indonesian company "Wings" has expressed interest in cooperation and potential acquisition of a majority stake in companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of chemical production (soaps, cleaning agents, and all care products), as well as factories involved in food production, and a majority stake purchase is also possible in the potential privatization process of a state-owned company.

We remind you that the owner of this company is Indonesian billionaire Eddy William Katuari, who is on Forbes' list of the richest Indonesians.

His wealth is estimated at over 1.5 billion dollars. He took over the company in 2004 from his father, who was a co-founder.
