Easter Greetings

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - High Representative Valentin Inzko today congratulated all Orthodox Christians in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of Christ's resurrection.

"The resurrection of the Son of God always carries a universal message of love, life, and new hope. Let us strive to be guided by these messages to be worthy of the values of faith. I wish you all from the bottom of my heart to spend this holiday joyfully in the company of family and loved ones, and with God's blessing. Christ is Risen!", stated Valentin Inzko's greeting.

The Vice President of the Federation of BiH, Milan Dunović, sent greetings to His Eminence Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral, and to all Orthodox faithful on the occasion of the upcoming Easter.

"Your Eminence and dear fellow citizens, I wish you a Happy Easter, and may you spend the holiday days in peace, joy, and celebration with your loved ones. I wish that Easter Day brings you happiness and hope for a better tomorrow, and that we all build a better future together in unity", stated Dunović's greeting.

The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović, sent Easter greetings to Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabar-Bosna and Orthodox Christians in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"On the occasion of the upcoming great holiday of Easter, I extend sincere congratulations to you personally, as well as to all Orthodox faithful in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the wish that you spend it in good health, happiness, and contentment, sharing the joy of this holiday with your loved ones, friends, and neighbors, in the spirit of true appreciation and mutual respect", stated Izetbegović's greeting.

"May this Easter joy also be a confirmation of our centuries-old tradition of togetherness, in which we will continue to build and strengthen Bosnia and Herzegovina, the homeland of all our peoples and citizens", Izetbegović conveyed.
