Congratulations on the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, on behalf of the Government of the Federation of BiH and personally, congratulated all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 1 - Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Dear Bosnians and Herzegovinians, thanks to the decision made 28 years ago, we live freely in an independent state. In 1992, we opted for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be an independent, sovereign, and whole state of equal peoples and citizens. It is our lasting task to show and confirm our devotion to the state and our readiness to preserve what we stood for, and to teach our youth about it.

Let us be proud of being citizens of an internationally recognized state, and let this encourage us to preserve and build Bosnia and Herzegovina, our beloved homeland.

I wish all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina a happy March 1, one of the most important dates in the long and rich history of our country," said Prime Minister Novalić.

The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fahrudin Radončić, sent congratulations to all citizens of BiH on the occasion of March 1, Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Bosnia and Herzegovina has gone through numerous challenges in its history, but its peoples and citizens have always managed to preserve the spirit of togetherness and coexistence. Today, our common goal is to join Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a modern and democratic state, to the European family of nations and thus ensure prosperity for all its citizens and future generations. We can achieve this by strengthening common values and respecting our differences. Happy Independence Day," stated Minister Radončić's congratulatory message.

The Secretary of the Joint Service of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kenan Vehabović, also congratulated all citizens on March 1 - Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are conveying the Secretary's congratulatory message in its entirety.

The decision for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be an independent and free country of equal peoples and citizens was, is, and will remain part of our history, but also our present and future. I am convinced that by preserving our historical achievements, our independence, and our statehood, we will be able to solve problems and crises and offer all our citizens a better and happier future," said Vehabović's congratulatory message.
