Frequent landslides impede traffic on roads in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is on dry and occasionally wet roads. Due to frequent temperature changes and melting snow during the day, landslides are frequent on numerous sections. Ice is possible in higher mountain areas, while snow and ice are present on some sections of the Bosanski Petrovac-Lanište-Ključ main road. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment. 

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

On the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, due to works in the Skela tunnel. At night (10 PM to 6 AM), traffic is suspended and redirected to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory roundabout).

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the roads: Jablanica-Mostar (section from Komadinovo vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, traffic is slow on one lane on the Foča-Goražde main road (in Filipovići).

There are no long waits at border crossings.
