Czech Experts for EOD Visited FUCZ

An expert delegation from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the National Police of the Czech Republic stayed for four days at the Federal Civil Protection Administration, reports Patria.

Colleagues from the Czech Republic were received at the Federal Civil Protection Administration by members of the Unexploded Ordnance Disposal Department. During their four-day visit, the Czech delegation attended and participated in the daily operational activities carried out by the explosive ordnance disposal teams of the Federal Civil Protection Administration.

On that occasion, the guests were presented with the methods, procedures, tools, and equipment that the teams use in their work. Pyrotechnicians from the Czech police showed particular interest in the types and kinds of explosive ordnance found in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in the training of explosive ordnance disposal operators conducted at the Federal Civil Protection Administration.

In addition to the official part of the visit, the hosts showed the guests from the Czech Republic the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the guests showed the most interest in the site of the Sarajevo Assassination.

Members of the expert delegation of the National Police of the Czech Republic, upon leaving Sarajevo, expressed great satisfaction with what they saw during the visit, as well as hope that they will have the opportunity to reciprocate the hospitality to the explosive ordnance disposal experts of the Federal Civil Protection Administration in the Czech Republic.
