Sarajevo City Center and Baščaršija Full of Tourists: The Bravest Drank Coffee and Tea in Gardens

(Patria) - On the second to last day of 2025, the center of Sarajevo and Baščaršija are full of tourists. Neither the cold weather nor the polluted air prevented tourists from walking.

The more resilient ones decided to drink coffee, tea, or juice outdoors in the heart of Baščaršija.

According to the forecast, there will be no snow in the coming days either, and temperatures are a few degrees below zero.

Sarajevo will have a public New Year's Eve celebration this year as well, with Croatian singer Jelena Roza, singer Dženan Lončarević, and the Sarajevo band Divanhana entertaining citizens and guests. The stage is already being set up behind the SCC shopping center.

Tourists have arrived in Sarajevo, mostly from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, but also from other parts of Europe and the world.

Some have been coming to Sarajevo for the New Year's holidays for the last few years, which has become a tradition.
