Welcome Center and Tourist Patrols at the Service of Tourists

As part of the 2nd Sarajevo Summer Market, taking place in August at Trg djece Sarajeva, the Destination Sarajevo Welcoming Center is operating, launched by Sarajevo Navigator with the aim of serving tourists visiting Sarajevo during this period.

In the space of this Center, tourists can obtain relevant information regarding the rich offer of the Sarajevo destination, as well as free promotional materials of the Sarajevo destination published by Sarajevo Navigator (monthly guide Sarajevo Navigator, annual guide Destination Sarajevo, Sarajevo Map, Minicards...)

There are also promotional materials from members of the Destination Sarajevo Partners Club, a unique platform launched with the aim of bringing together businesses in the entire Sarajevo destination to jointly realize efforts for the promotion of the Sarajevo destination.

Also, during the Sarajevo Film Festival (August 12-20, 2016), Tourist Patrols, two-member groups of young, unemployed individuals who speak multiple languages, engaged by Sarajevo Navigator within the public works program of the Sarajevo Canton Employment Service, are circulating in Sarajevo.

The goal of these activities, as well as the Sarajevo Summer Market itself, also organized by Sarajevo Navigator, is to complement the offer of the Sarajevo destination during August, which represents the peak of the summer tourist season in the Sarajevo destination.

Sarajevo Navigator has been dedicated to the development and promotion of the Sarajevo destination's offer for almost 10 years, and in the past period has made an active contribution to increasing the number of tourists visiting the Sarajevo destination, as well as increasing the amount of attractive content intended for visitors to the Sarajevo destination.
