Cengiz has finished its part of the work in Jablanica, the railway line will soon be operational

(Patria) - The company Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret, which took over the reconstruction of the railway line in Jablanica destroyed in devastating floods and landslides in early October, completed its part of the work yesterday.

As Cengiz announced earlier, the work was completed before the end of January.
Cengiz workers and machinery are no longer at the construction site as of yesterday.

As confirmed to Faktor, Željeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine (Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) have laid ballast, installed sleepers and rails. At this moment, it is not known whether the work on the contact network, which is part of the job performed by the Railways of FBiH, has been completed and when.

What is now expected is the technical acceptance after the completed works.
Željeznice FBiH and the Government of FBiH previously announced that the railway line in Jablanica will be fully operational at the latest in the first days of February.
