Čengić: "Energoinvest" workers in Libya are not in danger

A certain number of workers on oil fields in Libya are not in danger, as the oil fields are guarded by the army, confirmed Enes Čengić, General Director of "Energoinvest" for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

- The management of the BiH company "Energoinvest" has been relocated from Libya to Tunisia, based on the decision of the BiH Presidency which gave such recommendations when the unrest in Libya began. Our representation takes care of the workers and is in contact with them. There are problems, especially in Tripoli, but our workers are safe – said Čengić.

He said that he spoke with the director of the "Energoinvest" representation yesterday and that the workers will be returned to BiH as their visas expire.

Otherwise, in recent days, unrest in the capital of Libya has escalated, and numerous representations and embassies are relocating to Tunisia.
