SARAJevo, (Patria) - The match of the Second League of FBiH, Center group, between great rivals Čelik and Visoko's Bosna was interrupted in the 53rd minute due to fan riots.
Dissatisfied with the refereeing by Kenan Bekrić from Tešanj, the home fans decided to take justice into their own hands. Although their team had a 1-0 lead, Bekrić and his assistants managed to provoke the Čelik fans with their decisions, and they decided to react.
After a stoppage in the second half, Bekrić pointed to the penalty spot for Bosna. This angered the home fans. They started to confront the referee, and the match was then interrupted. We certainly do not want to see such scenes on BiH pitches, and the question now is what kind of punishment NK Čelik will receive after the fans entered the field.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the complete chaos, and now everything is in the hands of the Disciplinary Commission of the FBiH Football Association. Before this round, Čelik was in third place in the league table with 26 points. Ahead of them were Bosna with 29 and Stupčanica from Olovo with 33 points.
