Čelik convenes KS Assembly session

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Newly elected Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Mirza Čelik (SDA), who was elected to this position at an emergency session held on December 28, has scheduled an emergency session for January 8 to discuss items significant for the normal functioning of the KS and its institutions.

He also appealed for the return of the seal held by the 'quartet', stating that 'what interests the public is that since Saturday we have been trying to obtain the seal, although the Law on Seals of the KS stipulates that the secretary of the KS Assembly keeps the seal and is authorized to stamp official acts adopted in the KS Assembly.'

'Given that the secretary could not even stamp my invitation for the seventh emergency session, we sent the invitation to the representatives without a seal,' Čelik said.

The session plans to discuss the Proposal of the Decision on temporary financing of the needs of Sarajevo Canton for the period from 01.01. to 31.03.2020. Also on the agenda will be the Proposal of the Decision on granting consent to the Decision on temporary financing of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund for the period 01.01.2020 to 31.03.2020, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on granting consent to the Decision on temporary financing of the needs of the Public Institution 'Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton' Sarajevo for the period 01.01. to 31.03.2020.
