A Turkish citizen, S.A.K., born in 1994, attempted to smuggle 2.8 kg of silver, but was discovered by officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Sarajevo International Airport.
The Turk was waiting for a flight to Istanbul, and during the KDZ inspection of passengers and luggage, the silver was found without the necessary documentation.
The Turk was denied exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and S.A.K. and the silver were handed over to officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further processing.
