Waiting for Zvizdić to convene a session: Konaković closer to the prime minister's seat than Bučo

It is still unknown when the president of the Cantonal Board of SDA Sarajevo, Denis Zvizdić, will convene a session of the Executive Board, where a candidate for the prime minister-designate for the formation of the new Sarajevo Canton Government should be selected, reports the Patria News Agency.

Given that the session of the SDA Presidency, which gives consent for the appointment of the prime minister-designate, is scheduled for Monday, February 9, it is expected that the members of the Executive Board will also gather in the next three days.

Of the four candidates proposed by the base, two have gained the trust of the members of the Cadre Commission. Jasmin Bučo received six votes, and Dino Konaković received five. The Executive Board members have the final say.

According to information from the top of the Cantonal Board of SDA, Dino Konaković has a greater chance of taking the prime minister's seat.

Those who support him offer arguments in favor of their claims that he is a young and promising politician who has already proven himself in parliamentary seats and who perfectly knows the system of functioning of the executive and legislative authorities, as well as the political and economic situation in the Sarajevo Canton.

Others, who would like to give their vote to Bučo, refer to his educational and professional references to date. He is a young man who, at the age of 36, completed his master's and doctoral degrees in France and Great Britain.

Additionally, he has proven himself as an excellent executive director at JP Autoceste Federacije BiH.
