Čegar on miner protests: They refuse negotiations, there are also intoxicated people among them

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Zoran Čegar, head of the uniformed police of the Federal Police Administration, who was on the scene today in front of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina where miner protests have been ongoing since 11 a.m., said in a statement to the media that he believes it is not a good idea for Minister Nermin Džindić to come out before the miners.

"I am in favor of negotiators going inside. But they are exclusive. I think they are unrealistic. I am sorry that among these honest people there are intoxicated individuals. I have no specific contacts with them. We are entering the night, I have never had such a structure that refuses negotiations," said Čegar. 

The miners state that they will not disperse until they are informed that their demands have been met. Today, coal production was halted in seven mines of the EP BiH Concern, and miners who came from all mines say that other colleagues as well as family members will join them.
