CCI in Banja Luka collects citizens' support for fair employment in the civil service

Centers for Civic Initiatives (CCI) invite citizens to a street action „Fair public competitions - equal chance for everyone!“ which will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Trg Krajine in Banja Luka (near Boska).

The street action is carried out as part of the campaign „For the capable, not the suitable“, within which signatures of support are being collected from citizens for the demand for a clear separation of political functions from professional positions within the public sector, and fair employment in the civil service, healthcare, education, public enterprises, etc.

„Personal abilities, knowledge, experience and integrity of candidates must be the decisive factor in appointments and employment in the public sector. Not party or family connections“, they said from CCI.

Also, through prepared printed material, citizens will be informed about the results of the conducted monitoring of appointments and employment in the public sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which provides an overview of regulations and practices of appointments and employment in the public sector during 2016.
