CBBiH Denies Incident: Employees Who Do Not Mark March 1 Worked Normally

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina denies media reports that employees of CBBiH who do not mark March 1 as Independence Day of BiH were not allowed to come to work, it was announced from CBBiH, reports the news agency Patria.

Namely, given that there is no state law on holidays and that CBBiH marks January 1 and 2 and May 1 and 2 as holidays, all other holidays are marked by CBBiH employees in accordance with their own choice.

For employees who do not mark March 1 as a holiday, this day is, as every year so far, a regular working day. For the performance of work processes, as is usual every working day, all necessary working conditions exist – transport is provided for employees coming from Pale, as well as heating and all other conditions.  

The information that employees who came to work were not allowed to enter the building is incorrect – the entrance was locked until the arrival of employees at work, when it was unlocked. 

None of the employees who came to work reported any incident to the authorities, and the dissemination of incorrect information to the public is considered by CBBiH as an abuse of the media by individuals, it is stated in the announcement of CB BiH.
