CB BiH will seek protection of its rights from the Centar Municipality through court proceedings

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBiH) informs the public that as of today, December 27, 2021, the Centar Municipality has not fulfilled its commitments based on the CBBiH's request regarding the acceptance of an alternative location for the construction of the main unit building of Sarajevo.

Deadlines for fulfilling requests have not been met

Although the municipal administration, led by Mayor Srđan Mandić, firmly and decisively assured the representatives of CBBiH at a meeting held on October 19, 2021, that all set requests would be fulfilled within the deadline and that maximum effort would be made to create the conditions for the exchange of locations according to the proposals submitted by the Centar Municipality, this has unfortunately not happened. The public was informed of the meeting held and the obligations expected to be fulfilled by the Centar Municipality on the same day.

CBBiH will seek protection of its rights through court proceedings

Given that such an attitude towards CBBiH represents yet another confirmation of the lack of seriousness and ignorant approach towards a state investor, we want to clearly state that CBBiH will seek further protection of its interests and legally acquired property rights exclusively through court proceedings, insisting on determining the individual responsibility of all actors who participated in any way in the violation of legal deadlines and consciously avoided the application of valid legislation in the process of resolving CBBiH's requests.

CBBiH will persevere in its intention to use its legitimate and legally acquired property right for the purposes for which it is intended and in accordance with the concluded agreement.
