Čavara does not give up: On July 9 session, another amendment to the law so he can receive salary in cash

(Patria) - The 30th session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been scheduled for July 9, with 19 items on the agenda.

The agenda again includes the Proposal for amendments to the Law on Financing Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by MP Marinko Čavara (HDZ BiH), after the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH rejected this law on June 5. On June 11, he resubmitted the law to the procedure, and the proposed amendments provide for the payment of salary and compensation in cash when this is not possible via a transaction account.

Čavara is on the U.S. blacklist, and after banks closed the accounts of individuals on the U.S. blacklist, Čavara does not receive his salary.

The same session will also include several laws proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, which were prepared by the Institute for Intellectual Property.

The agenda also includes a parliamentary initiative by Saša Magazinović, which mandates the Council of Ministers of BiH, in cooperation with the Ministry of Security of BiH, international and local partners, to urgently find a new location for the accommodation of migrants currently staying in the Blažuj migrant camp, which will meet security, technical and humanitarian standards, in the interest of the safety of citizens and the preservation of public order and peace in the area of Ilidža.

Such an initiative was submitted at all levels of government by representatives from the Ilidža area, regardless of which party they belong to, gathered by the municipal mayor Nermin Muzur after the shooting near the Blažuj camp.
