Čavara and Novalić a "winning combination" in future work

President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marinko Čavara held his first meeting today with the mandate-holder for forming the new Federal Government, Fadil Novalić (SDA), reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

They discussed the economic environment, as well as resolving problems in the FBiH. Čavara said he believes they will be a "winning combination".

- Although we probably will not solve some problems during our mandate, I believe we will lay good foundations for them to be resolved in the coming period - said Čavara.

Novalić emphasized that he has "exceptionally high agreement with Čavara regarding all problems". Čavara expects the appointment of the new government at the beginning of March.

Speaking about privatization in the country, Novalić confirmed that in this mandate, Elektroprivreda BiH and BH Telecom will certainly not be privatized.

- If such an intention existed, it is not possible because the mines that supply our energy system actually require restructuring. So, due to technical conditions as well, we cannot talk about the privatization of Elektroprivreda. Regarding BH Telecom, in a technical sense, privatization can be discussed, but I have not noticed such an intention on one hand. On the other hand, even if it were discussed, it would be about a partial additional issuance of shares within the minority stake. That is the maximum scope - said Novalić.
