Čarkadžić: Gratz takes Centar, Bandić Novo Sarajevo, Trojka to fall

(Patria) - Political analyst Denis Čarkadžić has published his projections for the upcoming Local Elections in Sarajevo Canton.

While cautioning that forecasting is a thankless task, Čarkadžić stated that the Trojka parties will lose votes.

Regarding the race for mayoral positions in KS, he believes that the Democratic Front (DF) candidate Dennis Gratz, supported by SDA and the Party for BiH (SBiH), will win in Centar.

In Novo Sarajevo, Semir Efendić, leader of SBiH, will retain the mayoral position, Čarkadžić predicts.

And in Novo Sarajevo, he believes that the SBiH candidate Muamer Bandić will win.

In Stari Grad, Irfan Čengić of the Social Democratic Party, supported by Trojka and also DF, will defend the mayoral position.

On Ilidža, the sure winner is Nermin Muzur, a candidate of People and Justice, supported by the other two Trojka parties.

Čarkadžić predicts a victory for SDA's Eldar Čomor in Hadžići, and from the same party come the winners of the mayoral race in Vogošća - Migdad Hasanović and in Ilijaš - Nermin Hodžić.

Čarkadžić did not predict the outcome of the mayoral race in Trnovo.

"Regarding the councils, cumulatively, Trojka will fall between 15 and 25%," Čarkadžić added.
