(Patria) - Cala Goloritze is the best beach in the world for 2025, according to the website Worlds 50 Best Beaches.
It is located on the Italian island of Sardinia and consists of fine white gravel and sand, reports Punkufer.
It is situated in the town of Baunei, in the southern part of the Gulf of Orosei. It is also often called the most beautiful Italian beach.
It stands out for its 143-meter-high peak rising above the cove, offering a stunning view of the surroundings and the turquoise sea.
Cala Goloritze is more than a beach - its rugged beauty will move you emotionally the moment you see it. This sight will take your breath away, whether you view it from a lookout point or stand on the shore with your feet in the sea, writes Worlds 50 Best Beaches.
As early as the 1990s, it was declared a natural monument. It is protected, and staying there requires special rules.
Only 250 people are allowed entry per day, tickets cost around seven euros, and they must be booked online in advance.
There is no built infrastructure here - no cafes or restaurants. You must bring your own food and drink and be sure to take any waste you produce with you.
It can only be reached in two ways - by boat or on foot over quite challenging terrain, taking about 90 minutes of walking.
This beach on Sardinia can be visited from March to November, with the greatest interest, logically, from late June to August.
Keep in mind that summer temperatures here are very high, so it is best to arrive in the early morning hours.
