Four times in 15 days: Beautiful images of Bosnia and Herzegovina in world media

It has never happened that images of Bosnia and Herzegovina have graced the covers of world internet portals, newspapers and TV channels four times in just 15 days, writes the Patria news agency (NAP).

The story about the beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina was first offered to world channels by the unique jumps from the waterfall in Jajce on August 1. At 21 meters high, one of the rare waterfalls in the world located in the city center, it drew sighs from millions of tourists across the planet, after the media broadcast the stunning footage of the International Cliff Diving Championships.

Fifteen days later, world media wrote about another set of jumps, this time the Red Bull Cliff Diving from the Old Bridge in Mostar, from which the world's best divers took off.

The story that Mexican Jonathan Paredes is the winner of this year's Red Bull Cliff Diving World Championship, held for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was carried by all European and American media.

A day before the jumps, the 21st Sarajevo Film Festival opened in Sarajevo, and four days later, everyone reported on the fantastic atmosphere created by fans in Sarajevo for the U16 basketball team after they won the gold medal at the Eurobasket in Lithuania.

British Daily Mail reported that fans flooded the streets of Sarajevo and celebrated the victory over Lithuania in the Eurobasket final. The British noted that the welcome for the young basketball players was phenomenal.

Italian Repubblica stated that the Bosnian cadets performed a miracle by winning the Eurobasket, and that they managed to unite a country where hatred and violence have reigned for many years.
