As many as 68.6 percent of employers in BiH need incentives for employment, very few know about EU funds

Incentives for the economy in BiH are extremely necessary, and for that to happen, economic reforms are primarily needed, writes the Patria news agency.

Statistics are merciless, so the extinction of small and medium-sized enterprises is becoming more frequent, while unemployment is rising. On the website of the Employment Service of the Federation of BiH, a survey was posted with the question: „As an employer, do you need incentives“ for training, retraining and additional training, for hiring new workers, as assistance in strengthening capacity for using EU and other funds.

As many as 68.6 percent of respondents answered that they need incentives for hiring new workers, while 14.5 percent of respondents want incentives for retraining their workers. Only 9.5 percent answered that they need incentives as assistance in strengthening capacity for using EU and other funds, which is proof that our employers still do not know how to properly use the funds and have great difficulty accessing them.
